The “like” button is not what it used to anymore. Facebook has evolved this button with five animated emojis. Instead of click on the standard “like”, you can click on “love”, “haha””, “wow”, “sad” and “angry” emoji.
These buttons are called “Reactions” and they give Facebook users an expanded palette of emotions. Most of them in a positive way.
We all know that when we click on “like” sometimes it’s not the right sentiment, so… by popular demand, Facebook decided to go beyond the “thumb-up” button so we can express our right feelings and thoughts about a post in the social network.
Last Wednesday, the new “Reactions” buttons started rolling out to Facebook nearly 1.6 billion users around the world!
For businesses, these new Facebook Reactions are amazing! They offer more feedback on how customers react to a post and they push businesses to adapt or improve their profiles in the social network, because they let businesses know what their followers feel and think about their brand. Besides, these emojis push users to be more comfortable in sharing and interacting with content they don’t accept.
